FREE PENGUIN (Fort Greene)
TAKE THIS SAD BABY PENGUIN AWAY FROM ME!
My ex-boyfriend won this shit for me at Coney Island. I hate it and it is ruining the aesthetic of the apartment. Unfortunately we still live together and he won’t let me get rid of it. He is away for the afternoon, hopefully looking for a new crib, so I am trying to unload this bastard QUICKLY! Seriously, come and get it! In five minutes he will be sitting outside of 86 Fort Greene PL between Fulton and Lafayette. Hopefully he will be gone by the time I get back from the liquor store.Thank you Maggi and Craigslist.
hmm..i’ve gotta call bullshit on this. i live on that block, and it’s not between fulton and lafayette. and actually there isn’t really any stretch of ft. greene place b/w fulton and lafayette since it’s a 3-way intersection. and i didn’t see any penguin anyways.
i like this ad. sue me.any ad that uses Explosions in the Sky is alright with me.
ah this harkens back to those wonderful July mornings, before the heat, each day starting w/ a ride and then Le Tour live on Versus. how i miss Phil Liggett’s dulcet tones already. and this spot never failed to charge me up—so glad someone dug it up.

as a proud member of this Truck Farm “CSA” (which promises “a completely unknowable amount of truck-fresh produce”), i’m excited to see that the film is coming along nicely.
