A bunch of years back, not long after his incredible Ricky Williams magazine piece was published, a buddy of mine wrote to Chris Jones looking for advice and such. (We were both scrappy hand-to-mouth freelancers at the time, and both loved his feature writing.) Jones responded with a four or five page letter with all kinds of really smart, helpful and honest words and counsel. Great dude.
